About Us
Who We Are
Bee American, Plant Native LLC is a small veteran-owned family landscaping consultancy located in Prince William County, Virginia. We operate on a part-time basis, but with full-time passion for the cause.
The owner, Adrian Willing, is a certified Chesapeake Bay Landscaping Professional (CBLP) Level 1, Prince William Wildflower Society (PWWS) member, and Virginia Native Plant Society (VNPS) activist. Our business was recently profiled by the Chesapeake Conservancy Landscaping Council (CCLC) and is as much faith-based as it is environmentally-rooted.
What We Believe
We believe in stewardship of our lands, the heritage of our native habitats, and that it is our responsibility to care for God's creation.
We believe that native plants are patriotic, as they have shaped our nation's history and provided the complex regional ecologies which still dominate our many distinct, but united, cultures.
We believe in educating and empowering people of all walks of life to contribute however they can to the betterment of the environment through sustainable conservation practices and native landscaping.
Finally we believe in leaving an environmental legacy for our children, to ensure they are blessed with the same access to clean air, clean water, and diversity of wildlife species that our parents enjoyed.
Where We Are Located
Bee American, Plant Native LLC operates primarily out of a private home residential office and does not maintain a storefront. We also grow the majority of our plants onsite, utilizing both indoor grow facilities and an outdoors greenhouse. Our suburban property is a certified native wildlife habitat with a variety of organizations, and serves as a living seed bank for specialty Virginia native plants. We are "on the map" for the Homegrown National Park and can schedule a native gardens tour if you're in need of habitat inspiration.
